Jay Leno, a popular American comedian and host, had a close escape earlier today when he met with an accident during the filming of an upcoming episode of CNBC’s “Jay Leno’s Garage”. The terrifying incident has been caught on camera.
Leno was in a Hurst Hemi Under Glass race car with Bob Riggle, a legendary drag racer, behind the wheel. Everything seems fine when Riggle, now 80, drives off at the Irwindale Speedway in California. Leno can be heard saying “2,500 horsepower on two wheels. What could go wrong?”. Ironic, considering what follows his words.

Riggle then loses control of the car as it heads into a turn and it rolls over twice. Miraculously, both men have escaped form the accident unhurt.
Riggle noted that “This is only the second accident I’ve had in 50 years of running this car!”. Apparently riding the stunt car with Riggle has been on Leno’s bucket list ever since he was a kid. Let’s be glad that he didn’t have to kick the bucket for that.
