At 8.03am on Monday morning (20th June), the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to a multi-vehicle collision at the junction at Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Central.
The accident involved a lorry and two cars and one of the cars overturned due to the collision. While the cause of the car crash is yet to be known, reasons for car crashes might be due to driver error or mechanical performance of the cars and many other reasons.

SCDF dispatched an ambulance, a fire bike and a fire engine to the scene. A man and woman were injured during the accident but declined to be hospitalised or treated.
