Signs Your Car Battery Is Dying

Car batteries are basically the hearts to our cars and they normally lasts for maximum of 4 years. If they don’t function properly, they won’t be able to be able to give enough power to other parts of the car causing more complications. Here are some signs to look out for before your battery dies on you or have it replaced.

  1. When you turn on the engine but it won’t start:

An obvious sign that your battery is slowing expiring, it takes a longer time to start the engine in other words, slow engine cranks. Often, when this happen, we intend to jump start our car by using a jump box or jumper cables. If you find yourself forcing your car engine regularly, it is time for a check.

All of which require electricity supplied from your vehicle’s battery. Check your battery and if it still looks good, maybe it is time to have it replaced.

In this case, do a close check on your battery cables for loose, broken or corroded battery terminals. If it is not in a good shape, have it replaced instantly. Little things like these should be looked upon before it evolves into a bigger problem in time to come.

In other words, the amount of voltage needed to start and run properly for each car. If it doesn’t function properly according to the environment or weather, it is retiring.
